Just a little image to share today, a collection of weathered copper bowls, tubs and pans used on the ivy clad wall of our hotel.

What I love about this is the colour of the metal echoing the leaves, and just the slightly surreal combination of the large scale kitchenia with the natural stone and wood.

Copper is a beautiful material which only improves with age, and its earthy green tones are what I am looking for in my new kitchen.

A final shot of the church doors, made in Constantinople  in the 10th century, to make my point that copper is the thing.

Until next time, sx
